A new piece of Art  at Qatar's MIA park fro kids

A new carousel has been installed at the Museum of Islamic Art's park and will open to the public soon.

The carousel was designed by Iraqi artist "Dia Azzawi", Qatar Museums said it is titled "Enchanted East".

According to QM, the carousel contains 40 animal seats that are inspired by MIA’s permanent collection, also includes works of Islamic arabesque, Arabic calligraphy and famous carpets from Islamic civilization.

"Azzawi" is a renowned modern Arab artist and has exhibited at the Arab Museum of Modern Art (Mathaf) in the past, Azzawi’s work is also planned to launch in October at both Mathaf and the Al Riwaq gallery near the MIA.

The carousel will open during Ramadan from Sunday to Saturday, 7 pm. to 12 am., It will be closed Tuesdays and Fridays.

And after Eid Al-Fitr in July to September, it will be opened from Sunday to Saturday, 6 pm. to 12 am., and will be closed on Tuesdays.

and from October to May will be opened from Sunday to Saturday, 10:30 am. to 11pm., and will be closed on Tuesdays.
